Welcome to 1st Grade!

I am very excited to start another school year.

This is my 9th year at St. Bede's, but my first year in first grade!

My goal is to create a safe and loving environment for your child to learn in. I do this by teaching in a variety of ways to meet the needs of all my students.

Here are some things you should know about our first grade class:

We use Daily 5 and IREADY for ELA and a variety of manipulatives in all subject areas, but specifically math!

I encourage independence and active participation.

I use Class Dojo as a form of communication and positive reinforcement for class behaviors. Please click on the Class Dojo link to learn more. It is very important that we work together to make this a successful year.
